The BEST MODS in Cities Skylines 2

Cities Skylines 2 MODS (and how to install mods in Cities 2) are the focus today, delivering where the base game does not. HOW TO INSTALL MODS IN CITIES SKYLINES 2:
At the time of producing this video, mods are only available through 3rd party sources. Official mod support is expected to launch in 2024.

In the meantime, I used the Thunderstore Launcher & their website (links below) to install mods, and then launch Cities Skylines 2.

Other providers include: Nexus Mods (notably), citiesskylines2mods, and modscities 2, r2modman. Mods can be manually installed, or auto-installed (I used Thunderstore).

HOW TO PLAY MODS IN CITIES SKYLINES 2:
After you've installed them, manually or automatically through a third party you can generally mix and match them all together. A fresh save would be the safest way to play, but most broken things can be deleted and replaced if something does go wrong.

I used Thunderstore Launcher, after using the "Install with Mod Manger" option via their website. Then I launched the game through the launcher (not Steam directly), after creating a mod playlist and enabling my chosen 8.

Mods are a use-at-your-own-risk option, supplied through 3rd party providers and not officially by Paradox Mods (as of December 2023). Download and use that at your own risk. I can't vouch for the validity of any mod provider.
