Should people hike solo in grizzly bear country, or is that just asking for trouble? The standard advice says to never hike alone, but is that based on solid evidence or 'common sense' that doesn't actually make sense? I'll share my thoughts about this controversial topic and hope to add some light to a hot-button issue.
