I have been wanting to do a GO RUCK event for years and just never signed up for one. This year, I decided to finally Commit. I'll be doing a GO RUCK BASIC here in Connecticut. So ok, I signed up; what do I do now? Well obviously I must prepare! Not just training (i.e. get some weight in a bag & start walking / hiking) which is a given. I mean, make sure you have the things you need to complete the event. In this video I give a summary of what the GO RUCK BASIC is about (keep in mind this is just based on research and not experience). And, I go over the items I think I will be needing to bring with me to tackle this challenge. If you just show up to the event with the required 30lb weight...... YOUR GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME!! You obviously need to carry it in something that can handle the weight and carry the other items that will keep you warm, fueled, and safe! But what are those items? 🤔. You will need to watch the video to find out!!
