Dyson DC07 Origin (2008) Vacuum Cleaner Review / Demo

Описание к видео Dyson DC07 Origin (2008) Vacuum Cleaner Review / Demo

In this video I talk about every aspect of owning a Dyson DC07.
The model I feature on this video is the clutchless Origin model, produced later in the DC07's production run. Mine dates from about 2008.
The DC07, introduced in 2001 was supposed to be the replacement for the DC04, (although the DC04 ran in production along side the DC07 for a couple of years afterwards) and was the first Dyson to feature multiple cyclones. It also featured the reversible wand. It was also just about the noisiest Dyson ever made when in use. It came in 2 variants, one with a clutch for turning the brushroll off, and one (the Original, or Origin) without the clutch. It was almost identical to the DC04 in the design of the cleaner head, but the location of the pre-motor filter was moved to a removeable compartment next to the motor housing.
The DC07 was probably the most popular and best selling Dyson upright of all time, with a long production run from between 2001 to about 2009, by which time it was offered as a budget model, alongside the newer "ball" models such as the DC25. The DC07 is also probably the most well known model on the vacuum refurbisher's market, and until very lately, they were flooding the secondhand market, with prices in the £40 - £60 region.
The DC07 was initially made in Malmesbury, England, when it was launched in 2001, but after 2002, Dyson transferred all production to Malaysia. The DC07 (Following the move to cheaper mass production in the Far East) was also the first Dyson upright that was made available to the USA. It was supposed to be replaced by the DC14 in 2004, but was so popular, it ended up running alongside the DC14, DC15, DC18, and DC25, before being finally retired as an ultra budget model in 2009, just before the DC41 was launched.
