Colle delle Finestre Descent (in full) - Cycling Inspiration & Education

Описание к видео Colle delle Finestre Descent (in full) - Cycling Inspiration & Education

Joining the Val di Susa in the north with the Val Chisone in the south, the Colle delle Finestre is a cycling icon like no other made famous by the 2005 Giro d'Italia. Make it to its summit and you're in for a treat beyond words. Take a moment to recover and enjoy the view then buckle up for what can only be described as a white-knuckle rollercoaster on two wheels! Fortunately from this side it's all asphalt (albeit somewhat beaten up by the bottom) with tight turns and virtually no traffic it's something of a masterpiece after such a hard climb.

Length: 11.2km
Summit: 2,178m
Valley: 1,418m
Elevation drop: 760m
Average gradient: 6.8%
Max gradient: 10%
