English actress Haydn Gwynne, known for roles in TV shows including Drop the Dead Donkey, Peak Practice, Merseybeat and The Windsors, has died of cancer aged 66 on October 20. She also had an acclaimed stage career, being nominated for both Olivier and Tony awards in the West End and on Broadway for Billy Elliot the Musical.

Mark Howard James, best known as 45 King, has died October 19. He was 62. 45 King was a New York City hip-hop producer who worked with such iconic stars as Queen Latifah, Eminem and Jay-Z. His cause of death was not released, but DJ Premier said that 45 King had been in the hospital this week, the Los Angeles Times reported. He took the name 45 King because he had sampled old, obscure records, The New York Times reported.

Judy Balaban, a prominent figure in Hollywood and daughter of a studio mogul, has passed away October 19 at the age of 91. Balaban, who had a fascinating life filled with connections to Hollywood’s elite, died in a Los Angeles hospital. She was known for her activism in civil rights. In addition, Balaban was a close friend of Grace Kelly and served as one of her bridesmaids at her wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco.

Lasse Berghagen, known for having represented Sweden at Eurovision 1975 with the song “Jennie, Jennie”, has died October 19 at the age of 78. The singer underwent heart surgery not long ago, from which he did not recover. Lasse Berghagen was born on May 13 1945 in Stockholm, Sweden, and went on to become one of Sweden´s biggest singers and songwriters.
