Youth Veerangnayen, our NGO committed to the upliftment of women, recently hosted an event—a skills test for girls who completed a comprehensive six-month stitching course under our guidance. This initiative, born from our unwavering dedication to fostering self-reliance and financial independence in women, sought to not only evaluate the girls' proficiency but also to instill a sense of confidence and empowerment in them. Moreover importantly, our initiatives showcase perfect skills examples that enable women to think they too can support their families.

Led by a team of highly qualified and experienced teachers, the skills test encompassed both oral examinations to assess theoretical knowledge and practical assessments to gauge hands-on proficiency and their verbal reasoning skills. The teachers provided personalised guidance and encouragement, nurturing the girls' talents, providing them insights on how to gain good communication skills, while also giving them a supportive learning environment.

The results of this skills test were nothing short of inspiring. The girls demonstrated remarkable skill and aptitude, showcasing their ability to not only stitch with precision but also to apply creative flair to their craft. What truly resonated was the realization that these newfound skills could serve as a pathway to financial independence for the girls. Such opportunities, coupled with other tests and trainings, such as a pre employment personality assessment test or trainings on team work, skill development and effective leadership, can greatly improve these women's chances of finding suitable employment and/or becoming self-employed.

We reaffirm our commitment to empowering young women, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to chart their own destinies. Through initiatives like the stitching centres where women undergo training following by skill tests, Youth Veerangnayen continues to pave the way for a more equitable and empowered society, one stitch at a time.
