This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2025 Nissan Armada full-size, 3-row body-on-frame SUV. Gone is the V8, the 2025 Nissan Armada is powered by a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 with a 9-speed automatic transmission, 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. That’s an extra 25 horsepower and 103 lb-ft of torque compared to the outgoing model. Standard 4WD in Canada and 2WD and 4WD is available in the US.
The 2025 Nissan Armada has quite an elegant exterior design with a bold on road presence.
The new 2025 Nissan Armada PRO-4X model is the most capable Armada with an electronic locking rear differential, 20” wheels and all-terrain tires, a metal underbody skid plate, a unique front fascia, 8 drive modes, lava red accents, a black painted grille and unique PRO-4X themed interior accents. PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve models feature a load leveling air suspension with multiple ride heights, it can lower at speed for improved aerodynamics and when parked it can lower 2”.
Nissan has really loaded up the 2025 Nissan Armada with a ton of standard features including dual 12.3” screens with with Google and Amazon Alexa built-in, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, 12-speaker Klipsch audio system, leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, power front seats with lumbar support, a heated steering wheel, dual panoramic sunroof and a power liftgate.
In the US, not all these features are standard like a power liftgate, the Klipsch audio system and the dual panoramic sunroof but they are available.
In Canada, the 2025 Nissan Armada SL $84,998 CAD, Platinum $93,998 CAD, PRO-4X $94,998 CAD,
Platinum Reserve $104,998 CAD and Platinum Reserve w/ Captain’s Chairs $105,998 CAD.
In the US, 2025 Nissan Armada SV 4x2/4x4 $56,520 USD/$59,520 USD, SL 4x2/4x4 $62,970 USD/$65,970 USD, Platinum 4x2/4x4 $69,930 USD/$72,930 USD, PRO-4X $73,740 USD, Platinum Reserve 4x2/4x4 $76,990 USD/$79,990 USD.
