This intriguing new animation shares a piece of Gairloch's local folklore: the story of the Gille Dubh who was believed to live out at Loch an Draing, near Inverasdale.

Created with the wonderful artwork of Abe Locke and narrated by Sam Heughan, this new reworking of the story will bring this traditional story to a new audience.

Working with the Art Fund to celebrate our selection as #MuseumoftheYear 2020, we were able to create this reimagining of this local story.
