Stradella Bass Accordion:

Описание к видео Stradella Bass Accordion:

In this video, I try to remedy all of the many spoken errors made in video #13a--as well as the multitude of errors and oversights perpetrated in my previous videos!

The whole point of my accordion videos is to introduce the Five-Finger Stradella-Bass technique, devised by the late jazz musician Clarence Edgar Roberts (1906-1983). He worked this out at some point in the 1930s or 1940s.

At 14:31, the C7 chord is played by using the RING finger for the C bass button and the THUMB for the Go7 button.

ERROR ALERT: At 3:42, I SHOULD have said "F4," NOT D4.

REMEMBER: MANY--though not all-- of the "7th" chords that I demonstrate in my videos are denoted with the "5th" tone MISSING.

C AUGMENTED (C+) chord: There are two fairly easy ways to play a C+ chord using ONLY the Bass & Counter-bass rows/ranks:
(1) C bass (pinkie) + E bass (index) + G# counter-bass (pointer).
(2) Ab bass (pinkie) + C bass (index) + E counter-bass (pointer).
