Filters LIE to YOU! How to keep manufacturers accountable?

I've had a bad experience with Baader filters (their new CMOS-Optimized series!) recently, and I want to bring attention to a critical issue with filters in general: they can be worse than their quoted specifications.... and we have no way to know!
