Auctioneer Ron Wiegmann sells a ONE OWNER R- code 427 ci. 4 Speed Ford Fairlane that had been stored for 3 decades sold in Indiana. The car had extensive documented drag racing history in Northern Indiana. The local drag strip was Avilla dragway and was open from 1980 to 1995. The car wasn't even started and it brought $35k! This car is a sedan. Not a hardtop. How many R-code Fairlanes were sedans? I bid on the car trailer but it needed 4 new tires so I ducked out at the ask of $1550.
