If you are planning a trip to Ranakpur in Rajasthan and confused on your hotel booking, this video is for you.

We took this trip to Ranakpur on August 11th, 2020. We stayed in King’s Abode in Ranakpur which is around 8 kms from the Leopard Hills.

We booked two Deluxe rooms –
INR 6,000 per room including three meals (High Tea, Breakfast and Dinner) and any taxes.

Due to the Covid and off-season timings, we were upgraded to the Super Deluxe Rooms.

The Preventive Measures at the Hotel included only a temperature check at each entry and sanitizers all across the property.

This is not a paid promotion of the hotel but a personal experience and review of the stay.

The room size was decent (380 sq. ft.). The overall food quality was a great and we were surprised with the menu and quality of food even at a remote location like Ranakpur. However, the linens and the quilts were a little low quality and dirty with tea stains on them.
The washroom interiors were not great but the towels and supplies were nicely kept.
On the hotel property, we could not use a lot of services because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but there was a big pool in the backyard and a Table Tennis area. The activity and seating area were spacious and well-organized. The hotel staff was friendly and repeatedly checked on us for anything we needed. They were following the precautionary measures well. Overall, for this price, our experience was good and would recommend this hotel because of its location in Ranakpur. For two nights stay, this hotel is not a bad deal.

If you wish to take a safari in Ranakpur, one of the best drivers in the area are the two brothers, Mr. Mahendra and Mr. Hitesh. They are extremely dedicated in what they are doing and give you a thrilling experience of the Leopard Hills. They are trained drivers and experts in finding a leopard.

Ranakpur is situated in Rajasthan in the West of India. It is famous for its white marble Jain Temple. It also gained popularity recently because of the Leopard Safari and the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Around 2 hours from the city of Udaipur, this is a perfect weekend getaway for wildlife lovers.

Recently, Forest Department of Rajasthan has initiated the process to upgrade the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajsamand district into another tiger reserve. The area of the proposed reserve is 1280 square km which will be divided into core area and buffer area.
