Hidden in the trees of Bishopscourt, Notorious is a home that feels like a modern retreat in California or the hills of Spain. Originally a single-storey mid-century bungalow, the owners rebuilt it into a contemporary family villa - without losing its soul.

Architect Kate Delfante Scott designed the home to breathe: every window frames greenery, every room feels light, calm and connected to nature. Oak ceilings flow outdoors, raw concrete meets timber and glass, and the mountain only reveals itself in carefully framed glimpses - never shouting, always quietly present.

Interior designer Hendre Bloem softened the bold architecture with layered textures, tonal colours and sculptural furniture, turning vast open spaces into intimate places to live, entertain and gather.

And this home isn’t just beautiful - it’s famous. South African artist ‪@CassperNyovestOfficial‬ shot one of his most iconic music videos here.
