dumb - nirvana [cover]

hi,,, it's sunday oooh. today im covering dumb by nirvana a song i've loved and wanted to cover for a while now and im finally doing it! go me! here r my links n such:

anyway now to my essay like description, im sure no one reads. nirvana was a band that i started listening to in middle school, like you do, when your discovering your own music taste. bleach was the album that weaned me into these types of sounds n i think around this time i was or started listening to emo ish music but like not 90s emo, like scene emo internet culture emo. there's a difference! i am a huge blur fan n one of the reasons i even checked out bleach was becuase i heard song 2 was poking fun at american grunge music n it's funny that it ended up being their most famous song in america. but i could go on n on abt britpop n blur n pulp n then start talking abt shoegaze but music genres r not the point today.
but yea, nirvana is interesting band because they seemed to always be just chill, regular dudes, with regular problems, minus the.... skyrocket success that changed their entire lives. from what ive seen they remained as "real" as possible. not the biggest nirvana fan n i don't really listen to grunge but i appreciate what the genre did. there's always that genre each couple years that's doing something new n exciting. be it rock, pop, or hip hop. there's always something cool happening.

oh man if anyone does see this i forgot to even mention the hoops i jumped through. basically im dumb (hehe) n the video u r seeing was a half step up, so instead of recording it all over again i just grabbed my guitar n sung completely over it n stuck it in there. so that's what ur hearing. also found out after i had already recorded that basically the chords i used (they were very, simple, like first guitar lesson simple) were all wrong :) yaaaay it sounds alright though...? but yeah dumb by nirvana is, for whatever reason, a song im extremely attached to and love and enjoy n cherish, ok thanks.
