Are Mormon "testimonies" sincere and to be taken seriously? When LDS missionaries and other Mormons testify that they "know" their "church is true," are they just practicing or trying to convince themselves? Do Mormons "know" that John the Baptist, then Peter, James, and John appeared to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery to "restore the priesthood"?
