Dame Vivienne Westwood Dies Aged 81

Dame Vivienne Westwood, titan of British fashion industry, has died at the age of 81. Emerging from the punk scene of the late 1970s, Westwood fused aesthetics with activism throughout her career. Despite being welcomed into elite society after decades of contribution to British culture, rebellion remained at the core of her personality and her work.
