In this episode, we spotlight Varsha Gupta, from Delhi, India, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. With five years of industry experience, she chose to advance her studies at Purdue University in 2018. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue, specializing in the optimization of agriphotovoltaic systems under the mentorship of Dr. Rakesh Agrawal and Dr. Margaret Gitau. Varsha's educational pursuits are supported by her parents, Mr. Kamta Prasad and Mrs. Mamta Gupta, who have played a pivotal role in her achievements from a modest background. Her work aims to integrate agricultural practices with photovoltaic energy production, enhancing sustainability and efficiency.
