Описание к видео [NEWS] The Final Bell Rings – TCISKL Students Celebrate Growth

Founded in 2020, Tzu Chi International School Kuala Lumpur celebrated its third cohort of secondary graduates in 2025. As in previous years, the graduation ceremony was held at the KL Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall, where teachers, families and 218 graduates gathered to witness a heartfelt and memorable occasion.

Class is over – this marked the final lesson for more than 200 secondary students of Tzu Chi International School Kuala Lumpur (TCISKL). The solemn graduation ceremony was filled with songs, laughter and tears.

Parent | Stephanie Wee
There’s an element of gratitude,
there's an element of performance,
and there's also an element that allows
the children to have an appreciation session for their parents.
That quiet moment, where children can actually reflect on
where they’ve come from,
where they are now, and where they're heading.
I think that's a really special moment that I always cherish.

Dressed in graduation gowns and mortarboards, the students had completed their secondary education and were ready to step into a new chapter, carrying forward both knowledge and humanistic values.

Acting Principal | Yong Mei Teng
For us, the graduation ceremony
is the students’ final lesson in school.
Through a series of programme segments,
we pass on kindness and love.
What touched me deeply was
the performance by the Tzu Chi Mums and Dads and teachers,
which reminded the graduates that even after leaving school,
they should continue to love and benefit themselves and others,
and become pillars of society.

Secondary Teacher | Tinashini
The students are giving their love to us,
but it's time for us, teachers, to actually spread the love,
to show the love for them to bring over.
I’d definitely say that
the graduation event at TCISKL
is definitely different from other graduations.

From the students’ rendition of ‘Kneeling Lamb’, to the song ‘Growth’ that depicts teacher-student bonds, and the ‘Loving Reminders’ by Tzu Chi Mums and Dads and teachers, every word conveyed love and gratitude.

Graduate | Evans Teoh
The performers weren’t only Chinese teachers,
but also Indian and Malay teachers.
They’re unfamiliar with Mandarin,
yet they took the time to understand the lyrics for our sake.
I believe it was really challenging,
and I could feel
their heartfelt blessings for us.

Secondary Teacher | Bhavani
This is my first experience doing sign language.
Initially, it was a bit challenging for me,
but because of the bond that I share with my students,
I really wanted to take part in this
and demonstrate my love and blessings to them
through this opportunity that I got.

Secondary Teacher | Leon Chau Rhou
What left the deepest impression on me
was a segment in the sign language performance –
with our hearts as sails riding the wind.
It truly expressed
the bond between teachers and students,
and reminded us, teachers, that
education isn’t just about imparting knowledge,
but also about the emotional flow between people.
Teachers’ encouragement and love
can transform into courage and strength,
helping students face the challenges ahead.
This may well be the real beauty and purpose of education.

There were no loud cheers, only applause, blessings and tearful farewells, as the graduates strode forward, bearing the love of many.
