The Tiny Bit Of Theory That TOTALLY Changed How I Play Bass!

Описание к видео The Tiny Bit Of Theory That TOTALLY Changed How I Play Bass!

This week we’re looking at an element of musical study that can totally change how you look at both playing and writing bass lines and music in general. It’ll change how you learn bass lines. It’ll allow you to play awesome fills and solos (in a melodic way). This is one of the most important ‘melodic’ bass lessons you’ll probably ever have.
We're going to look at how we add notes to those chord tones. Chord Tones are the most important thing you can learn as a bass player. But what about all the other notes! What about scales? What about chromatic notes?
Loads of bass lines make use of chromatic notes. This is where we need to have a system for adding all those cool, funky little notes into our riffs. So buckle up and get ready for a journey into some USEFUL music theory!!

This lesson is taken from module 5 of the new Ultimate Music Theory For Bass over at the Talkingbass website: https://bit.ly/3x3xc2S
