Leaving Tintern Abbey, I hike up through Offa's Dyke to the Devil's Pulpit. It's a large hunk of rock with views out over the Abbey and the River Wye. Folklore has it, that the Devil stood on the rock preaching down to the Monks tempting them to indulge in his evil ways. Fortunately it didn't work out!
However, it's a beautiful historic and scenic route to do!
