Shivering & Sweating - GCSE Biology

Описание к видео Shivering & Sweating - GCSE Biology

🦊 In this GCSE Biology video, we explain the body's response to temperature changes through shivering and sweating. Shivering, caused by involuntary muscle contractions, generates heat via exothermic respiration to warm the body. In contrast, sweating cools the body when overheated; as sweat evaporates from the skin, it transfers heat away, facilitated by the breaking of intermolecular forces between water molecules, effectively reducing body temperature.
