Описание к видео Style Innovators: Kate and Andy Spade Part 3

GQ's Adam Rapoport hangs with husband and wife team Kate & Andy Spade in this episode of Style Innovators.

A young star in the advertising world, Andy has been called "one of the great under-known geniuses of Western civilization." He was an equal creative and entrepreneurial force behind the Kate Spade and Jack Spade brands as the CEO and Creative Director. When the couple exited the labels, Andy founded a boutique creative agency, Partners & Spade, which allows him to do a little of everything he loves. From branding and advertising, to films and books, to art and interiors, through Partners and Spade, Andy lends his characteristic touch of cool authenticity to brands like J. Crew and AOL.

Over the course of the episode, Andy walks Adam through the world of Partners & Spade, starting in their part-gallery, part-studio, thoroughly bewitching Noho headquarters. Together they check out a couple of the firm's notable projects, including the J. Crew "Liquor Store" in Tribeca and the site of a new upcoming hotel in Soho, 111 Mercer. Andy also invites Adam into the Spade's Southampton and New York City homes where his unique aesthetic melds with Kate's to create stunning yet comfortable spaces. Later, Kate joins Andy and Adam in the their Upper East Side apartment where the couple discuss their move from downtown, their distinct design sensibilities and how they managed to work together so closely for all these years. Kate also talks about her decision to leave Kate Spade to raise their young daughter and whether or not she envisions herself going to back to work in the future.
