MG TF 160 Fastest laps at Cadwell Park - (Onboard + External - 17/5/23)

Hi all! Long time since I properly uploaded last. Since the suspected broken gearbox at Oulton we've had the whole rear end of the car out to investigate. Suspecting the issue was with the box we replaced it with an upgraded unit thanks to Andrew Goater (Search "PG1 Gearbox Chat" on FB or "agoaty" on eBay). We now have closer gear ratios and a Quaife LSD instead of the Torsen B we had before. Initial impressions are that the Quaife LSD has dramatically changed the handling of the car for the better and the lap times show it. I'll do a follow-up comparison video on this down the line.

In the end, it was just a cascade of very badly broken wheel bearings that caused the loud noises at Oulton. We're trying better quality bearings this time in the hope we don't have a return of the same issues.

Anyway managed to get back to Cadwell which has allowed to us do some comparison and testing (hopefully somewhere different soon...). Here are the only two fully clear laps I got on the day. Had some interesting chases with mostly MX5's so there should be a vid of some of those to follow. Unfortunately, a sheared bolt in the gear linkage prevented us from seeing out the day but had a great time on this Track Obessesion track day. Hope you enjoy!
