STORYLINE:
The Royal Australian Air Force aerobatic team has stunned spectators at the Bali International Airshow 2024, showcasing breathtaking maneuvers of its most advanced air combat fighter F35.
The airshow runs from September 18 to 21, is Southeast Asia's premier event for aerospace, aero technology, and defense.
Flight Lieutenant Kurt Pearce, F35 pilot from Royal Australian Air Force, told The Associated Press on Friday in Bali that the airshow was about "showcasing everything that F35 can do."
The Bali International Airshow is Southeast Asia's premier exposition for aerospace, aero technology, and defense, dedicated to propelling Indonesia to the forefront of the regional aerospace industry. This event serves as a platform that unites diverse industry stakeholders in aerospace across Southeast Asia and Indonesia.
Nilma Missir Boissac, Senior Manager Asia Pacific of Embraer, said "Indonesia is a market with a great potential. There are many flights in Indonesia, air connectivity is growing."
Hosted by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Ministry of Transportation, the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU), and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, AirNav Indonesia, and Angkasa Pura Airports, the Bali International Airshow 2024 underscores Indonesia's steadfast dedication to aerospace excellence.
The event encompasses a total area of 78,000 square meters, consisting of a static aircraft display area covering more than 70,000 square meters.
