Here's an article from when they transported a 'particle physics detector' to the ISS back in May 2011:

It looks like a tiny nebula.. or something... ionizing or charging an atom ?.. I know nothing about these sciences... any ideas? please list links or search terms to reference material ;D

Why they don't shoot this with a real HD camera and air it on NASA TV is beyond me. Or have they and I haven't seen it yet?
