Quebec by Bike: A solo adventure along the St. Lawrence River | Cycling Across Canada, Ep.26

In September 2022, I rode across the province of Québec as part of my solo, self-supported tour across Canada. I entered the province from the Waterfront Trail and crossed to the North Shore, and rode on that side of St. Lawrence River until I reached Québec City. I then crossed the St. Lawrence River on a bridge and followed the South Shore, enjoying the stunning villages and small towns and farmlands along the way.

This province was what my soul needed following the collision in Ontario. I loved riding in Québec. The drivers were incredibly attentive to me as a cyclist, and I never felt threatened. There was a should mostly on every route. Overall, the cycling infrastructure was impressive. I followed Route Verte 5, Route Verte 1, and Route Verte 8 along the way. I met and saw multiple cyclists and cycling groups as I rode along.

An incredible experience full of stunning views along the St. Lawrence River and incredible experiences with people along the way.
