Japan completely redefined my expectations of accessibility. From tactile maps and accessible train systems to sensory-friendly museums and inclusive street design, I was amazed by how much space Japan makes for disabled travelers like me. In this video, I share the good, the surprising, and the areas where accessibility still needs to improve. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like traveling Japan as a DeafBlind person, this is my honest take on the country’s accessibility—and what other destinations could learn from it.
