Yandé Codou Sène was born in 1932v into a family of traditional musicians. She's a member of the Serer community in Senegal and performs songs within the polyphonic Serer musical tradition. The first song is Jaar ye. The second one, Lees Waxul, is an old Youssou N'Dour song who joins the performance.
