In this episode of Engines of The Pere Marquette, we’re going to talk about the railroad’s 2nd largest locomotives, the SF and SF-6 Satna Fes types.
One of the last steam giants of the railway, and the largest locomotives on the PM before the N series Berkshires. The SF-class locomotives were also unusual compared to the rest of the PM fleet.
