This year's 2024 Met Gala exhibit theme was Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, aka garments that can no longer be dressed on mannequins due to their extreme fragility. The dress code/carpet theme was A Garden of Time, inspired by the 1962 short story of the same name by J.G. Ballard.

I had such a blast with the theme, breaking out a true sleeping beauty, a 1920s wedding dress, and breathing new life into it! Creating this inspired look from head to toe and getting crafty with the little DIY purse project & the nail art was a true joy 💅🏻👩🏻‍🎨 All DIY products were found at Michael's and Joann Fabrics.
