Delta Air Lines Premium Select A330-900 neo, London - Los Angeles - Review by Hannah Brandler, Business Traveller.

The aircraft is configured with 281 seats across three cabins: Delta One (first class), Premium Select (premium economy) and economy (including Comfort+ seats with extra legroom).

Premium Select has 28 seats across four rows in a 2-3-2 configuration, with sleek navy blue leather, a diamond-like pattern and the Delta logo in red.

There are two universal plug sockets and USB ports below the back of the seats in front but the seat lacks storage space..

There's a small magazine pocket, an armrest with space for a phone or snack, and a water holder.

There are three buttons in the armrest to control the seat. You can recline it 7 inches, then press the button for the legrest to emerge, and the last step is manual – you fold down the footrest, and put pressure on it with your feet to extend it.

Seat amenities include a great memory-foam pillow and soft blanket.

The sturdy tray table pops out from the armrest and then you fold it out. This can move back and forth.

.There are excellent noise-cancelling headphones (you can't use your own) which have a cardboard wrap to eliminate plastics onboard.

Passengers are also treated to a beautiful amenity kit, handmade by Mexican company Someone Somewhere. This is a really nice touch.

The beautiful lining features the name of the artisan who created the pouch.

Inside is a lip balm by Grown Alchemist, toothpaste, toothbrush, woven eye mask, socks and ear plugs.

The seat has a paper menu which includes a choice of two main courses, along with a QR code with info on the appetiser, dessert and further F&B.

Service kicks off with a hot hand towel, glass of Prosecco and some cheese biscuits.

The reverse side also has details on the amenities, seat controls and tech onboard.

Tables were laid with linen tableware, napkins and silver cutlery, and the appetiser, main course and dessert were served in one go.

The dishes are served in bagasse plates, made from sugarcane plant fibre, and placed on a tray with a geometric design.

This is the vegetarian mascarpone and lime tortelloni with red pepper sauce, sweetcorn purée, asparagus and pumpkin seeds. I also had a salad to start and an ice cream, which began melt next to the hot main.

The IFE system, Delta Studio, is excellent and offers more than 1,000 hours of content.

13.3 inch screen was sharp and the touchscreen responsive.

I liked the filters available, such as the "under 2 hours" film category, useful for those with short attention spans.

It's possible to save films into a list, and you can move these up and down depending on your preferences.

Lights were dimmed after the dinner service, allowing people to watch a film or get some rest.

Aside from films there is a lot of music content and podcasts available.

You can watch the views from the window seat or use the free messaging service to keep in touch with friends. There are also two wifi packages for a cost

An hour before landing passengers are offered a snack. I enjoyed this spinach and feta pastry, served with wooden cutlery, followed by a decadent chocolate mousse.

The view coming into LAX was spectacular, with a rosy sunset. While the lights of Hollywood twinkled on the approach
