In this video, Grant discusses how to develop an anime physique. After decades of intensively training martial arts and getting to an insane level, Grant decided that it was time to add some more muscle with resistance training. The combination of his high level of skill in martial arts and his added definition and detail has resulted in something that can only be described as a real anime physique.

Training martial arts has given Grant the ability to move like Baki or Goku. But the sheer amount of calories he burns also means he burns through calories like nobody’s business. He eats a ton and he still looks insanely ripped. Add some extra, targeted muscle to that, and the results speak for themselves.

Here’s the thing: Grant isn’t massive. He’s not bodybuilder big or powerlifter strong. BUT the fact that he has such a low body fat, combined with his real functional performance (and all the muscular development that comes from that) means he looks much closer to someone like Sung Jin-Woo or Saitama or Toji. You don’t NEED gigantic arms to look fantastic. That’s what I’ve been trying to say on this channel for the longest time. And you don’t NEED to be able to squat 500lbs in order to move like a ninja.

This is where so many guys get it all wrong. They think they need to bore themselves half to death doing a few repetitive movements. When, in fact, they can do something they enjoy, learn a cool skill, and just add a little muscle on the side.
