"Standard 18's Warmup" ~ fast-tempo riff run ~ Bass Guitar Music

This bass is an absolute beast weighing in at 11.5lbs! It's the heaviest in the herd. I got it from a guy in England via ebay on 5/30/2023 for $119 total! Cheap, right? He got it out the door almost the same day...before I can change my mind!

It was a clunker - missing a tuner and needing a new bridge and strings. It came with vintage DiMarzio's with cream covers (sweet!) - I kept the pots original, too. A MusicLily string-thru bridge with brass saddles was added but the G tuner was not - don't need it really, but I might add one mostly for aesthetics. The fishtail tuners on this bass, "The KingKong", are slightly larger than what I have on other basses.

Recorded mid-day on 5/15/2024. All recordings are impromptu, improvised and one-take. Concept and titles were added during editing. I shuffle these videos from the "Singles" playlist as background music, usually with the volume at mid to mid-high ~ sounds come alive with the volume up :)
