Amritpal Singh is still on the run even as the massive manhunt by the Punjab Police to nab him entered the seventh day on Friday. Nepal border posts are on alert after intelligence agencies reported that the Khalistani separatist may escape through Nepal.
The mobile internet and SMS services in Tarn Taran and Ferozepur districts of Punjab will remain suspended till Friday noon, according to an order issued by the Punjab government on Thursday. Haryana Police on Thursday arrested a woman who allegedly harboured Amritpal Singh and his associate Papalpreet Singh at her home in Kurukshetra district
