Chacán is a Salsa/Latin-Jazz-Band located in Mainz, Germany. We play old-school salsa, #mambo , #guaguanco , cha cha cha, guajira, latin jazz and boogaloo.

The original song was recorded by the Puerto Rican Group La Playa Sextet in the early / mid sixties. In their album "Pachanga" they combined cuban rhythms such as cha-cha-cha, mambo, guaracha, pachanga and son montuno.

This is a tribute to the Palladium era in New York.
