Align ( Best fit )

Описание к видео Align ( Best fit )

You can refine the position of objects by performing multiple realignments successively. You can use Best Fit Alignment, Point Set to Point Set Alignment, or Move Object commands to perform the movements.

You can also define a transformation matrix for an object you align, and then reapply the alignment to other objects.

Create a CSYS at the location of the WCS (Tools tab→Utilities group→Save WCS) before performing the first alignment.

Open the Best Fit Alignment dialog box, and for mobile objects, select the CSYS you just created and an object to align (such as a solid body). Do as many iterations as required to get the alignment precisely placed (you must include the WCS with the other mobile objects in each iteration).

On completing the alignment, close the Best Fit alignment dialog box, and create a new CSYS at the WCS to replace the one you just transformed.

You can now reapply the alignment you just made with Best Fit Alignment to as many objects as you need. Open the Move Object dialog box, select a new object to transform, set the Motion type to CSYS to CSYS and select the new CSYS as the From CSYS and the transformed CSYS as the To CSYS.
