My Mormon BAPTISM BORN AGAIN at age 21

Baptism is the gateway through which we enter the path to the Celestial Kingdom (2 Nephi 31:17-18)(Book of Mormon)

No matter what religion we are in I know God loves us the same. I have been so blessed and wanted to share my experience being baptized at age 21.
I was baptized when I was a baby in the Catholic church but I know that no child (under the age of 8) fully understands sin until we reach the age of accountability. The prophet Mormon said that it is a mockery before God to baptize little children, because they are not capable of sinning. Likewise, baptism is not required of people who are mentally incapable of knowing right and wrong, ( Moroni 8:9-22) We must consciously make the decision to repent and be baptized and follow God.

When we are Baptized we make a covenant with God. We promise to do certain things and God promises to bless us in return.

Side note why is Baptism spelled with an S but baptized is with a Z? American english at its finest.
