A couple of trains are seen in this video filmed at this level crossing. One of multiple and numerous within a mile around Grimsby Town Centre, this one is located closest to Grimsby Town station. There are wigwags everywhere here, 7 of them in total with the lights mostly flashing about all over the place out of sync, though the alarms take all the attention here; there are four of them, and they are each rather loud and produce fast and urgent-sounding tones. A footbridge allows pedestrians to skip the waits here, though this didn't feel too structurally sound as you can feel a departing train thudding its foundations when standing upon it.

This three-track crossing needs to be scanned by six LIDAR's in total each lowering, and it is often lowered the same time as another two nearby, a real benefit of auto lowering as it saves a lot of time, effort, and risk of overlooking potential hazards compared to having to actively watch over all three like a hawk, though pre-resignalling they were likely lowered at different times in as quick succession as possible. The adjacent station sees hourly Liverpool - Cleethorpes TransPennine services, as well as two-hourly Leicester services which terminate here, and Cleethorpes-Barton-on-Humber services, and every other hour, these two East Midlands Railway services also join the TransPennine express trains to make up that cluster of trains. This was one of those hours, though the Barton service wasn't to return from Cleethorpes for another 20 minutes or so. This all totals six trains every two hours serving Grimsby Town Station.
