Easy HEMI MDS Solenoid Removal

This is my first time removing MDS solenoids.

I decided to film part of the process of removing the solenoids after removing a few with success because every other video said that they couldn’t be removed without breaking them.

So I started with spraying all of the solenoids with penetrating oil and let them sit for about 15mins... and then began to wiggle and twist the first one free but it the top of the solenoid broke.

I then decided to spray them again with penetrating oil and letting the sit for another 15mins... The first one that broke, I removed by screwing a screw into the top of the solenoid like in other videos I have watched and pull and pried it out.

So I decided on the next solenoid I would tap on the tops of them a few times, and then use vise grips to wiggle and pull them out relatively easy!

So the first one broke and the rest came out in one piece easy!
