De- and Relimiting a Yadea (Metro) E8S (Lite)

In this video, the process of De- and relimiting of a Yadea (Metro) E8S (Lite) is shown.

The steps are as follows:

1. Place the bike on the main stand (this step is not mandatory but is good practice)
2. Make sure the ignition is switched off.
3. Open and hold the throttle fully and squeeze and hold the front (right) brake lever.
4. Switch on the ignition while holding the throttle and front brake.
5. Wait 5 seconds for the bike to boot up.
6. Squeeze the rear (left) brake lever and release the front brake right after.
7. Release throttle
8. Twist throttle 4 times and hold it open on the 4th twist.
9. Wait 5 seconds.
10. Release rear brake and throttle.
11. Switch off ignition.
12. Turn on ignition.
13. Limiter should now be removed.

Re-limit the Yadea / Metro E8S (Lite)

The sequence is identical as with the de-limiting, the only difference is the number of throttle twists (3 instead of 4).

1. Place the bike on the main stand (this step is not mandatory but is good practice)
2. Make sure the ignition is switched off.
3. Open and hold the throttle fully and squeeze and hold the front (right) brake lever.
4. Switch on the ignition while holding the throttle and front brake.
5. Wait 5 seconds for the bike to boot up.
6. Squeeze the rear (left) brake lever and release the front brake right after.
7. Release throttle
8. Twist throttle 3 times and hold it open on the 3rd twist.
9. Wait 5 seconds.
10. Release rear brake and throttle.
11. Switch off ignition.
12. Turn on ignition.
13. Limiter should now be reset to default.
