Chirping in awe, he tried stretching his small talons to the sky itself, as though he wanted it to come to him.

He wanted to soar through it the moment he hatched.

Kestrel hoped that one day he would get to feel the wind beneath his wings, and the unexplainable sense of freedom that came along with it.
