Requested by Capacelan, Border Television was launched on 1st September 1961, and this is the ITV franchisee for Cumbria and parts of Northumberland in England, the Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland and served the Isle of Man from 1965 to 2009. The legal name of the company changed to ITV Border Ltd. on 29th December 2006. This will be my last logo history video for a few days since my next logo history video, which will look at the idents from Granada Television, will take a while to make.
