A 4X4 Weekend Away at Klein TafelBerg, Cape Town - Extreme Climbs, Family Fun

This week the team of Off The Beaten Track spent a weekend away with the team from MegaExplore Cape Town (Pre LockDown).

Situated in the Sandveld, between the towns of Redelinghuys and Aurora, Klein Tafelberg is what off-road lifestyle is all about.

Within an easy two hour drive from Cape Town, the fun starts as soon as you enter the gate, where you have to drop your tyre pressure just to make it to the campsite.

Voted South Africa’s Top 10 4X4 trail, this trail is Definitely worth the drive out.

One thing I can recommend is doing a trip with Francois, Francois is a professional driving instructor, specializing not only in 4X4, but evasive, tactical & defensive driving, contracted all around the world to teach people how to drive, so you know you're in good hands with him, he's patient and always accommodating to all, so even if you just feel you need some pointers in the right direction, contact him, he's always willing to help.
