Hiking The Colby Trail (Upper & Lower): San Gabriel Mountains (Angeles National Forest, CA.

The Colby Trail would best be classified as a San Gabriel Valley hike. However, the Upper Colby Trail is certainly a San Gabriel Mountains hike. So when combined into a single hike, the San Gabriel Mountains playlist would prevail. Both segments are good hikes when taken separately. In fact, I did the lower hike on the first visit (and shot most of the hiking video). After realizing that the video seemed rather incomplete, I redid the hike and tacked on the upper trail as well. As a result, when both trails are completed together, this is truly a complete hike. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
