Hare Krishna! Welcome to the Part- 2 of the glorification series of HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj. In this video let us walk through the divine path traversed by a pure devotee from 1971-1974. Srila Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj met Srila Prabhupada in 1968 in Montreal and got first and second initiation in 1969. Afterwards young Gopal Krishna Das was sent from Montreal to New York temple where he is stayed from 1971-74. This time period saw the sincerity of a fully dedicated soul who being a grihastha was so surrendered to Srila Prabhupada that he would attend the whole morning program, then would go to the job, then do the book distribution at New York bus terminal and then again attend the evening program and associate with the devotees. Maharaj would even give his whole salary to Srila Prabhupada. In 1975, Maharaj was sent to India where he was to be soon appointed as the longest GBC in the history of ISKCON and a BBT Trustee.
