Back in October 2011, Marco Rochowski (the mastermind behind the project RETRONIC VOICE) asked me for a lead melody and lyrics for an untitled song. So, I wrote the lyrics and recorded demo vocals as a guide for the Daniel Petersson, the actual singer of RV.
The final song was released as "Shot Down" on Retronic Voice's debut album "The Awakening" in 2012.

Now, 10 years later, I came across my original demo vocals and Marco's original basic track again and had some ideas for a longer, extended "bootleg" remix with a new intro, new parts and lots of additional synths and drums.

I got in touch with Marco last week and he was excited to hear what I've come up with and greenlighted the remix. So - thanks to Marco and here we go - Enjoy!
