Ganesh Visarjan in Maddur turned into a massive celebration with thousands of devotees joining the procession. Today, Maddur town witnessed the Ganesh Visarjan in Maddur where 28 idols were taken for immersion amid heavy police security. Over 20,000 people are expected to participate in the grand procession, covering around 3 km from IB Circle to Shimsha River.

This year’s Ganesh Visarjan in Maddur has gained special attention as the police have placed the entire town on high alert due to recent clashes. Every corner of Maddur is under tight police watch to ensure the smooth and safe immersion of Ganesh idols.

The procession is not just a religious event but also a cultural display of devotion, music, dance, and unity. Maddur residents are eagerly participating while the administration has made elaborate arrangements for crowd management and safety.

ಮದ್ದೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಗಣೇಶ ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಭವ್ಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯ ರೂಪ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. 28 ಗಣೇಶ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳ ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಶಿಂಷಾ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಗಲಭೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಕಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಸರ್ಪಗಾವಲು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
