I take on the world's tallest Skycoaster - all 300ft of it - at Fun Spot in Kissimmee, FL. The experience costs $40 (or is free with an annual pass purchase, which is ridiculous value at $90), and includes a movie and t-shirt of your choice. Oh, and when you get to the top, it's you that has to release yourself (which explains the thing you see dangling as I plummet towards the lake).

Fun Spot has two locations, one on the Highway 192 in Kissimmee, and another on International Drive near Universal Orlando Resort. Both parks offer thrill rides, family rides and four go-kart tracks.

At TPG, we love Fun Spot. It's convenient, has free admission/wifi/drink refills and uses a 'pay as you play' system. The go-karts are excellent, and especially so at the Kissimmee location. Personally, I think Fun Spot is a vastly underrated attraction, and one you should definitely check out on a holiday to Florida. The park really excels at half days, where the big parks (Disney, Universal, etc) get packed about midday, leaving you with the afternoon at the considerably more relaxed Fun Spot before soaking up the nightlife at the adjacent Old Town. Best time to visit: Friday night or Saturday night, because there is the classic car cruise to enjoy at Old Town!
