Wilko Johnson - Solid Senders (1979) - Paradise

Описание к видео Wilko Johnson - Solid Senders (1979) - Paradise

"Paradise", a song Wilko wrote about his wife, Irene.
The Solid Senders featured Stevie Lewins (bass/voc) Alan Platt (drums/voc) and Lex Ray (piano, voc) replacing John Denton. Having an endless number of contacts, Alan brought Lex in on quick notice. He always knew someone, whatever/whoever the band needed.
On Julian Templeman's movie "Oil City Confidential", "Paradise" was cited as one of the reasons Wilko and Dr Feelgood became fractious, Lee being uncomfortable singing it. It's Wilko's style anyway, besides, he'd sung at least one song per album - same as Keith always singing one on a Stones album...
Shit happens.
